My fingers are collapsing!

This was his sudden statement when he and I were playing Speed (the card game, not the drugs!) after we had gone jogging around the soccer pitch. He was tired and was trying to give an excuse as to why he wasn’t being as fast as he usually was during the game. He cracked me up so badly I almost cried.

As for the next one, I’ll give the context first:

Moodey, one of our friends, has a rather pleasant habit of always having some kind of chocolate or candy on her that she passes around to us. Yesterday she bought some small chocolates that looked like mini-chocolate eggs that were wrapped like bon bons. (Those wrappers that look like bow ties, you know?) I didn’t have any, but apparently they were so awesomely good that it made the ever-quotable Mikey saunter up to me, stick the chocolate in my direction and proclaim:

If it rained in Heaven, the drops would be these!

Chocolate: God’s Gift to Mankind. And apparently what divine rain is made of.
