I got a new laptop a couple of days ago.
You can imagine how ecstatic I am. WOOT!!!
It’s awesome. It’s a Toshiba…um…something-or-other. I had memorized the model when I got it but it seems to have slipped my mind. I know it’s written on the box that it came in, but I’m writing this from school and the box is not with me. So…I’ll let you know when I’m re-reminded, haha.
It’s got really nice features though–a built-in webcam and microphone, Windows Vista Home Premium, and God knows how many gigabytes of space. (Over a hundred…either 160-180 GB.) I had Adobe Acrobat reader/writer installed as well as PhotoShop, MS Office and lots of other stuff.
(Sorry for the brief description, I really ought to be bursting with information but I can’t be bothered right now…it’s not flowing properly to my head…plus I have people talking all around me and it’s hard to concentrate. Suffice to say I’m HAPPY about my new laptop. Woot!)

HEHEHEEE! You even gave that your Angry Chewing icon! You’re so awesomely adorable…it should be illegal, you know.
But, to make you feel better, I have a little story to tell you. I got this laptop a few days ago, right? And I charged it for nearly six hours–as was instructed–before I opened it. I registered its name and all that and fiddled with the webcam and explored the programs it came with. Then I shut it down, plugged it back into the charger and went to bed. The next morning, I packed up the laptop and gave it to my dad so he could take it to his office and have his IT people install MS Office and some other stuff onto it. But my dad called me and told me that they couldn’t open it! The laptop wouldn’t turn on! I thought I did something really wrong with it, even though I didn’t think I did.
Turns out I over-charged it.
See? My laptop decided to engage in obsolete behavior when it was barely a day old. Karma comes with a vengeance, doesn’t it? Hehe.

But, really, wow — I know you can over-charge laptops, but I didn’t know that could happen. Hm. Very strange — and terrifying for you, I bet. Is it ok now?
And, yes, I thought you could use a little Angry Chewing
