Tra La La and a Bottle of Rum!!

I don’t know what I’m going to be doing today. What I do know is that I’m in dire need of shampoo, as my current bottle is almost empty. I also know that I’m in dire need of new books to read. Thankfully, I think that need would be satisfied by Saturday. (No pressure!) Oh, and wireless Internet. I could really use some wireless Internet. That way I wouldn’t have to wait for the desktop to be vacated–instead, I could just use my trusty and non-obsolete laptop. (Inside joke–aimed at only one particular person.) By the way, Lebne, did you manage to fix your speakers or are they still out of wack?

Anyways…

Yesterday I went with my sisters, and my older sister’s friend, to McGill because we volunteered to stuff bags and envelopes with informational pamphlets and books for the new students coming this Fall. And, man, was there was a lot of stuffing to do…and a lot of stuffing that was already done! Apparently, there is an insane amount of new students coming this semester. It was pretty cool though,  we even had a mandatory break! (Really, the lady there said “Okay, now you have to take this mandatory break!”) We had some mandatory pizza and drank either mandatory juice or mandatory water. It was mandatorily delicious! (Okay, you may not find this funny at all, but I did. Don’t like it? Go jump in front of a parked car.)

I was stuffing bags at first–small black sacks with “Discover McGill” stitched onto it. A girl would organize a small pile of books and pamphlets and I would unzip the bag, stuff it with the said items, re-zip it and toss it in the middle of the table. After the break I decided to help my sisters stuff envelopes instead. Each envelope had about four or five papers, a notepad, a plastic ruler and a pen. I even grabbed a notepad and a pen for myself! Hehe…I’m a sucker for those things. I am currently using them to write down songs I wish to download into my iPod–you know, before I forget. Yes, I know, I have great uses for free things. Ha ha ha! Yeah…

Well…that’s my update of the day. I have to go to Indigo or Chapters to buy a certain something-or-other.
